Beth Am Women and Dayenu Circle invite you to join us after Sunday Youth Education Programming for our sustainability community event. Stop by for a visit to enjoy a pizza and salad lunch, and participate in some fun activities. Programming will include a recycling relay and cooking demonstration on induction burners, showcasing how easy it is to take small steps and become more sustainable. Kids and adults alike will learn how to cook, eat, and recycle — all contributing to an effort to keep our planet safe. We are able to host this event thanks to our generous sponsors.
Our recycling relay will teach you how to debunk the complexity of what gets recycled and how, with handouts available to share information regarding the various recycling rules in our local communities.
Beth Am cooks will use induction burners to prepare sustainable, family-friendly dishes for participants to sample, with recipes available to take. After the event, Beth Am will have three sets of induction burners (including pots and pans) available in the Beth Am Library for members to check out and try at home.
To participate, please register by Thursday, November 13 using the form below so that we will have enough food to serve.
