Beth Am Women Rosh Chodesh: Kislev
Thursday, November 20, 2025 • 29 Cheshvan 5786
7:30 PM - 9:15 PMConference RoomKislev’s sign — the rainbow — represents the first covenant between God and humanity, and the mix of sunshine and rain typical of this month. As we gradually increase in darkness and prepare for the holiday of light — Chanukah, which begins in Kislev — we will roll our own light by making beeswax candles for our holiday celebrations. All colors of the rainbow will be available, as we celebrate the full spectrum and diversity of humanity. Participants will have the opportunity to create a full "box" of candles — enough to last all eight nights of Chanukah.
All materials will be provided by Lisa and Beth Am Women. The program is free, but please register by Friday, November 7 so we know how many materials to purchase. You are invited to bring snacks to share!
Rosh Chodesh is a program of Beth Am Women. All women-identifying are welcome.
